Meade County

Crops and Livestock

Agriculture is the mainstay of our county's economy, making the dissemination of research-based information for crops and livestock very important. The goal of our agriculture program is to assist all Meade County crop and livestock producers, providing help and information on crops and crop systems, livestock management, range and forages, weed management, soil management, nutrient management, and water quality. We utilize K-State specialists and research as well as local programs to better respond to Meade County producers' needs.
